Empowering Personal Growth Through Compassionate Counselling,
Helping You To Move Forward
If you’re feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or weighed down by the past, you’re not alone. Life can be incredibly hard at times, and reaching out for support takes real courage.

I offer one-to-one counselling online and in-person in Penarth for anxiety, depression, major life changes, trauma, and relationship challenges. Maybe you’ve lost motivation, feel disconnected from yourself or find yourself wondering what happiness really means. Together, we create a space where you can pause, feel truly heard, and begin to untangle what's holding you back.
Your story is unique, and your therapy will reflect that. Our work together is about clarity, self-understanding and building the confidence to move forward into a life that feels more grounded , fulfilling and truly yours.
Working Together
Our work will start with what you’re facing right now. If it's helpful, we can also look at your past and how early experiences may have shaped the way you think, feel and relate to others.
Feelings of anxiety, low mood or disconnection are often the body and mind's natural response to difficult experiences. I bring a deep understanding of how trauma, including childhood abuse, coercive control, and domestic violence, can affect your nervous system and your sense of self.

You may have reached a point in life where they feel lost, unsure of who you are or what direction to take. Maybe the things that once brought joy no longer feel meaningful. If that’s where you are, we’ll spend time exploring what matters to you, reconnecting with what makes you feel alive, and finding your motivation again.
Together, we’ll build awareness, develop practical tools, and gently reshape any unhelpful patterns. I'll also share insights and strategies to help you better understand yourself and what you're going through.
My hope is that you begin to feel relief, more grounded and empowered to move towards a life that feels clearer, lighter and truly fulfilling.

What I Can Help With
About Me
My interest in people began with studying psychology at university, but really, there's been a lifelong thread. I come to this work not just with training, but with real-life experience of what it means to face challenges and grow through them.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck, unsure where to turn, and to reach a point in life where something has to change. My own journey has taught me how patterns from the past can shape our choices and how, with the right support, healing and transformation are possible.

I've faced unhealthy and abusive relationships, learned how to quiet the inner critic and replace it with compassion. I've also been through the toll of fertility challenges, learning to hold grief, hope and uncertainty all at once . These experiences deepened my belief that while change isn't always easy, it can be life-changing.

Professionally, I've spent years working in the mental health sector supporting people through crisis and recovery with organisations that include a domestic abuse charity for women, MIND, and a charity supporting people through crisis. These showed me how powerful it is to be truly heard and understood.

As a counsellor, I offer integrative therapy from a trauma-informed perspective. I draw from person-centred, CBT, and psychodynamic approaches. Therapy is tailored to suit you. Your pace, your needs, your goals.

I’ve supported people from all walks of life to move through pain, reconnect with themselves, and start building lives that feel meaningful. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and therapy can help you find it.
Outside work, I prioritise ongoing learning, self-reflection, time in nature, and the practices that keep me grounded. I believe we all deserve space to grow.

I look forward to meeting you.

How It Works

Initial Consultation
The first step is a free, informal video call. A space for you to share a little about what’s been going on and what you’d like support with. You're welcome to ask any questions. There’s no pressure or commitment, just a chance to see if working together feels right for you.

Ongoing Sessions
If you decide to go ahead, we’ll usually meet once a week up to 1 hour. This gives time for reflection between sessions and, sometimes, space for gentle activities or tools you can use outside therapy.

At Your Pace
There’s no set number of sessions, it really depends on your personal situation, which we’ll talk about together.
